A Few Notes About the Wood-Burned Art

Many of my pieces are done on wood with “live edges” - meaning, the wood bark is exposed on some (or all) sides. This gives them a natural, rustic look. The boards of the paintings are not square, making them difficult to photograph (some have been cropped to show image only). Every crafted item is hand-made, so each will have their own variations. Below are some examples of the wood used, how the paintings look on a wall, etc.
