Nature has always been my source of inspiration - I love the woods, and wood itself. Being able to use a piece of nature to reflect its own beauty seems so natural to me. By incorporating pyrography (wood burning) into landscapes, I’ve attempted to create a unique way of portraying shadows and highlights within a painting. Much of my imagery is inspired by the beautiful, majestic mountains of Colorado, where I am lucky enough to call home.
